The whole Jean/Pheonix thing was a let down on so many levels. After it ended, I felt like nothing really happened. Ratner being attached to Superman Returns lends that film some promise. Considering I'm not exactly a fan of Superman, however, I really wish he just stuck around for the third X-Men film.
